It's only failing for the poor and middle class who can except that maybe money is the root of all evils as they try to pay for health insurance and all the costs of being poor or in the middle class. House insurance, property taxes, nothing to deduct, ever rising car insurance, medical bills, day care, work 58 hour weeks, and try to get the kids off to school and afford lunch and sports on top of it. It's the life of the average normal American.

Actions have consequences

So what's a person to do? Work for a company for crappy health insurance, and benefits that also benefit the company, crummy pay , or actually have some backing of belief that our government can work to set laws and regulations towards how things are done in America with a standard of being one of the richest countries in the world? .... So it is said.... Or we live in a society where each state has it's set standards, and class systems within .. because it really seams it's a battle between the haves and the haves not.

It bears repeating.

So what your saying is that the political and corporate influence in our government regarding the changes in law over the years since the 1960s will have consequences, because all I've ever seen was a withholding of justice in interrupting the law, breach of privacy, and no regard for the citizen who finds them self in the nightmare unable to get a yes men.

Don't get worked up. He's not saying anything. He's letting you fill in the blanks. When communicating with people here, you have to be 100% sure of what they're saying; ask them to clarify. If they don't, then they never had anything of value to say in the first place.
