Both Socialist and Capitalist countries have empty spaces

You should have been an illegal alien... They get all the benefits... Even internet help sites that coach them on house squatting...

Illegal immigrants aren't eligible for benefits and the notion they are is a lie being pushed by the right and besides many of these homeless illegals are camping out on the streets and in tent cities in parks.

And yet they're receiving billions of dollars worth...

If they're not receiving benefits then the budget allocation should be $0 with a subsection solely for immigration/deportation services

So are both federal and state budgets for illegals at zero?
Because if it turns out the cost is in the 100s of Billions a year then we have a problem..
