Saying 'I want nice things for everyone' isn't brave or clever it's the default position of literally every human being on the planet, including the people you disagree with. The hard part isn't the wish; it's the how. Your plan might sound compassionate, but if it ignores trade-offs, incentives, or human nature, it's just feel-good rhetoric dressed up as pretentious wisdom.

First, it’s not the default position of everyone on the planet. The guy you worship and all his rich friends want none of that for their peasants. They want all the poor and disabled to “just die.” (Trump’s own words to his nephew about his disabled son).

Second, what you’re calling “safe, healthy, happy, educated, and free to pursue their ambitions” is literally in the Declaration of Independence under “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. What part of “trade-offs, incentives and human nature” mean more to you than peoples’ God given right to be free, happy, healthy and feeding their families? Trump is currently trying to prevent us all from doing that so he can play global elite games with his rich friends.

I place no value on discourse with someone who fabricates facts for the sake of justifying his hatred.
