Cocaine is more popular than ever in the US despite Trump sanctions

And cocaine is still as destructive as it's always been. People still crawl around on the floor when they run out looking for that rock they are sure flipped off the mirror. Nothing has changed since I helped friends get off of it in the 70s. There will always be someone to provide to tools for self destruction if there is a profit in it, either monetary or political.

Historically cocaine was brought over and sold to various specific gangs by the CIA to fund blackops, where the FBI then intentionally left them alone while going after their competition in the 'war on drugs'.

In effect, if you have hugely wealthy drug cartels that are selling more despite crackdowns, there's usually a federal department working with them to make it happen
(and strangely a similar story with lots of famous artists, big corporations, select movie companies and famous drug dealers..)
