Valknut tattoo: In June 2025, an ICE agent in Martha's Vineyard was photographed with a valknut tattoo. While this Norse symbol can have non-racist meanings, the Anti-Defamation League notes that it has been co-opted by some white supremacists. The Department of Homeland Security defended the agent, stating the tattoo was a tribute to fallen combat veterans and that the agent had no connection to white supremacy.
Misidentified "Nazi" tattoo: In 2018, a New Yorker fact-checker resigned after falsely accusing an ICE employee of having a Nazi symbol tattooed on his arm. The employee was a combat veteran, and his tattoo was later confirmed to be his platoon's "Titan 2" symbol from his time in Afghanistan.
So what you've got is a misidentified Tattoo & a verifiable Valknut Tattoo. The first being the persons Platoon from Afghanistan Tattoo & the other being a Norse Tribal Tattoo. Neither of which, are racist.
The only verifiable item I can find - was an ICE Prosecutor was found to be running a Racist X Account. So 1 out of 1,700 ICE prosecutors was posting on X in a racist manner.
