He needs to beat them to it. Trump won PA so maybe he’d still be able to be reelected. If not as a Republican maybe as an Independent who would (hopefully) vote with the Republicans most of the time. It’d be difficult for him to win without the left’s backing like he had the first time. Unless he had Trump’s endorsement.
