In this case the guy was here illegally, but it's completely legal to issue somebody a drivers license with only one name if that is their legal name

I found that out after I posted the meme. I was going to come here and post that about people with 1 name but you got here 1st. Thanks for posting that information.

You can even see the guys only name in the image above the "No Name Given" text.

But!!!! That does not excuse the states from giving illegal aliens drivers licenses especially with the Real ID designation. That is criminal!

If they came in the the country legally then there wouldn't be a problem because then the government could vet them. Providing that our government can ever get there act together and properly vet immigrants so that fewer terrorists get into the country.

If we ever got our common sense back we would go back to requiring that all applicants for citizenship must show they have a valuable skill to bring with them so that they can benefit this country rather than be a burden on the taxpayers. But that will never happen because leftists. The left are why we can't have nice things.

Well from what I found out this designation is given to anyone who only has one name, legal or illegal. The problem is that no illegal should ever have any kind of a driver's license in the US.

I know that there are some cultures where they only give the child one name. I don't like that practice but what can we do. I think you need at least one more name just to better identify someone.
