Who's sending armies into states without anything resembling the appropriate (due) process? It just looks like "states' rights", like every principle the GOP adopts, is only meaningful when they're using it to get what they want.

Nobody. Due process is the federal government can enforce the law on capital crimes like murder and grand theft (over $20) and immigration. If you don't like it, amend the constitution.
