Possibly. They could be so disgusted and repelled by the abhorrent nature of republicanism that they run to the other polar extreme. But clearly that doesnt apply to Thomas as he killed those mormons because he thought they supported the antichrist. That kind of messed up evangelical thinking is obviously republican. Luigi had a mixture of beliefs difficult to pigeon hole into one camp. Tyler seems to be influenced by his gay nature and the anti trans comments by Charlie. Other than that motivation to kill he shows no indication of other leftist tendencies. Most republican gays must similarly struggle with rightist anti gay sentiment.
