How did saying "Innocent people dying is bad" become something so political

1. Literally nobody said that.

2. That became political the exact moment leftists began celebrating an innocent person’s (Kirk’s) death.

That was exactly my point. When I say "I don't think innocent people dying is a good thing" there are unfortunately users here that think "no actually he said this genocidal/racist/bigoted/homophobic/transphobic rhetoric and that instantly justifies him violently dying". I do think they're the ones that made it political to begin with and in the future, it's likely just going to become another reasonable oft-repeated phrase that the left vehemently despises for no reason like "all lives matter".
