Why would they do anything about that? It was working for them, not against them. But of course we were paying for it.
Doesn't it seem like democrats and progressives want to take more and more from the people, and give us less in return?

We used to call them simply tax and spend Democrats but now a rider needs to be attached to that saying 'tax and spend on crazy stuff Democrats'.
