It is like the military allows all sort of people in with flat foot and other minor things like ingrown hair in, but supposed to hold them accountable to the same standards as everyone else, but then there will always be that discomfort because of it. Other military people may say "how come he can get away with not shaving his beard because some bs like ingrown hair?!", just causes discomfort and more problems than are needed. But what is worse than ingrown hair is people with flat foot, because now they get all sort or permanent damage while in the military, yet they can get denied of disability because, well, it is a genetic disability and that person is now screwed for life.
