So, to correct something you said... they do not "control" the "SENATE". They have a simple majority, and if you could pass a civics class you'd know about the 60 vote threshold.

1. the republicans passed a clean CR in the House without any Dem votes
2. all republicans in the senate voted for the House CR

If you choose to believe the govt has not, at least under Biden, given money to illegals, that's up to you. If you actually care about the truth, and of course I hope you do, then you'll take the couple of minutes needed to do some very easy research to find out that illegals get a lot of money from not only the feds, but state govts as well. State govts mostly in the form of medical care, including emergency room visits, which the feds reimburse. What's happening with the shut down now is that Trump wants to go back to pre-Covid funding levels, because during his first term, the govt made it easier for people to get health insurance in case they did get sick with the Wuhan virus. So to the media and the sheeple who blindly believe them, this is "cutting" health care. Maybe technically, but removing what's temporary is by definition not actually cutting.
