I dont watch anime but I used to (unfortunately it was MHA)

I think I only watched a couple minutes of it a few years ago when I started actually getting into anime that wasn't what my parents had on VHS and DvD, and I didn't like it.

For people who are getting started with anime, I recommend watching Metropolis. It's definitely an anime that non-anime watchers would enjoy. And it's a movie.

I only hate anime when it's mega horny or the lore is dumbass (like one's main character is a f**king smart fridge that can talk)

I agree. One I definitely recommend is Golden Boy. It is literally the FUNNIEST thing I have ever watched.
