Socialists do not produce anything other than death, misery, poverty and slavery. They call it utopia.

The 99% that buy into the concept of prosperity through taxing the 1% do not realize that they will still be the 99%. The difference is that under their new socialist/Marx/communist leaders they will have less freedom than they did under capitalism. That has been the case in every instance since Karl Marx espoused his principles of Marxism in the late 1800’s. Russia, China, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela and others are proof that the people get screwed when they buy into overthrowing capitalism and replacing it with Marxism.

Socialism has 1 weak link, and that is that a human is running it. Humans suck. They steal, cheat and lie. But AI sucks even more so outright socialism is not a viable solution. What you need is a capitalist economy that is built on a socialist base. That way there are safety nets for the less fortunate but the American dream of working hard for monetary gain to use for luxuries is still possible while people can still live a humane life with basic needs no matter their situation. There should also be a wealth cap where you get taxed progressively more depending on your net worth, no loopholes, build the taxation system from the ground up. All levels of healthcare and schooling should be free and accessible with the taxes being the monetary support.

Sadly this type of government will only exist in our dreams while the rich get richer and the poor get poorer

What people need to understand is that we need less government not more. In a free market system if a business rips off the customer or sells crappy products they don't last very long. Only the businesses who provide the best products at a reasonable price will last.

When socialism enters the picture it comes in as fascism. The government colludes with businesses so they do not have to answer to the consumer. They end up working for kick backs from politicians and not for their customers. Their products suffer in quality and the prices go up and the quality of life goes down.

We have that right now. Trump is trying to clean some of that crap out. Trying to take us back to a free market. But he has over a century of this socialist crap to clean out so I don't imagine he will get it all done. But when he leaves office he will leave this country much better off than it has been in decades.

Humans do suck, deal with it. We are greedy and that makes every single system of government awful at being a government. I like capitalism, but what we need is checks and balances to get rid of monopolies and eliminate poverty. Without those checks and balances, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer

Do you even understand how public ally traded businesses work. Where do you think shareholders get their money? The entire reason why they invest in a business is because they believe that business will be profitable enough to where they get a good return on their investment.

What happens when a business is profitable? They get to pay their employees. If they make enough profits they expand and create more jobs.

It makes me cringe every time some moron lefty utters the phrase, "people over profits" That has got to be the dumbest thing lefties have ever come up with.

If the business is no profitable then neither are the people who work for the company. The fewer profits the more they have the let people go.

On the other side, if the business doesn't make the people who buy their products happy they do not stay in business for very long.

PROFITS ARE PEOPLE. They are all about people. If you take the profits away then all of the people involved suffer. The way you put people over profits is to increase you profits.

John Adams (or second president) said "that the constitution is made for a moral and religious people and is wholly inadequate for any other". Without religion and morality people do suck. The farther this country moves away from morality and religion the more the people suck.

Fortunately, I and a Christian and I know a lot of really wonderful people. I have never met Charlie Kirk but he was an awesome man. Did you know that at one of his debates some lib chick just belittled him to the ground. After his was finished for the day he saw her car broken down on the side of the road. He stopped and got out and helped her fix her car so that she could make it home. He didn't mention a word about what she said to him.

If Kirk was a lefty he would have shot the woman but he wasn't. He was a very decent human being. I know a lot of people who would have done the same thing as what Kirk did.

Unluckily for your argument, I am a Christian too(Presbyterian), I'm also a humanist which kinda is at odds with religion but that's besides the point. Humans are innately flawed, it's been that case ever since sin entered the world. That is why no system of government can be perfect. I also never said that my idea for a government would work because it wouldn't, it's just a fever dream≥

The saying "people over profits" is normally said when companies use a business model that generates profits at the avoidable detriment of people. Examples of this include: A health insurance company knowingly using a flawed AI so assess insurance claims that denies more coverage than a human would, therefore the company can pay less, increasing their profits- An oil company covering up a disastrous oil spill in order to not pay fines and continue drilling, therefore making more profits- And any company that takes Saudi money.
Financial conflict of interest has no place in fields where human lives and dignity reside.
