Sometimes it's not about President Trump. Sometimes, shoehorning in President Trump is the deflection. President Trump is the Left's favorite strawman, especially when they are losing an argument. That and personal attacks.
Another strategy of the Left is to compare everyone with Hitler or call them a fascist. Makes me think that few on the Left even know who Hitler was or what fascism is. Now that's lazy.
