What your point? You could make the same chart for clean drinking water, space travel, and personal computers

I’m suggesting it’s failed, or at least failing, experiment.

They did that in Mississippi when school integration became law. Those white homeschooled kids turned out to be so damn dumb not even a Mississippi college would accept them.

I’m not suggesting homeschooling is the correct or only solution. I just think relying on the government to educate our kids isn’t smart. Our kids are getting dumber and less capable of critical thinking (on average…there are exceptions). A couple hundred years ago there were more options: parochial schools, religious schools, boarding school, apprenticeships.

All of those options you cite still exist.
