Legal immigrants are also being targeted by ICE raids. Also many conservatives complain about non-white immigrants "replacing" white people. Also not having their papers ready yet is no reason to hate an immigrant.
Actual criminals such as drug traffickers deserve to be deported but the innocent who just want a better life away from their original shithole country deserve to be given a chance to have their papers together.
