Ok I’m going to give it a second chance, albeit begrudgingly.

The first time I tried the open network test it was absolutely awful. Nothing to do with the online play, the controls just sucked and the sense of physics was horrible.

I’m going to try it again and try to change the controls around to a competent layout. MAYBE there can be some element of fun found in this rainbow colored nightmare.

The game is slightly better now with the altered control scheme and with steer-assist turned off. Boosting actually feels like something you earn now.
