How is enforcing the law in regards to FCC licenses threatening? It’s like threatening to put somebody in prison for murder.
Kimmel, Fallon, and Myers still have the First Amendment rights to say whatever they want. They just can’t do it over FCC licensed public airways.

First amendment rights are applicable to government actions against free speech. They do not apply to contractual agreements between two parties.

I’ll say it again. Cancel culture is canceling somebody for holding a different belief. Consequence culture is holding somebody accountable for wrongful actions.

The view was already been punished in the past for lying. Kimmel just got taken off the airways for lying to protect the licensees local broadcast FCC licenses. I’m not sure the view is totally reformed.
