Thousands die in auto accident every year, yet we have not banned automobiles. Driving an automobile is a privilege, not right. The rationale for keeping cars is it there is a greater benefit. The same applies to firearms. The benefit is we do not live under a tyrannical government

It should be pretty obvious, but you need it explained to you. He minimized people dying by gun violence just so he could support Americans owning guns and then he lost his life to gun violence. It's very ironic.
