His "radical" ideas were a threat to many. He managed to..upset a few by disabusing them of the quaint notion that America was not a democracy. He explained to many that the bulk of college degrees and their accompanying overinflated fees were a scam. For the students part, they seemed eager to show him how very accurate his analysis was. He definitely frightened them very much.
