Essentially our increasingly insane and violent leftists are saying, "Disarm all citizens or we will kill you!"

Nobody on the left is saying that. Numerous conservatives, however, are talking about taking peoples guns away just because they are liberal or Democrat or transgender. So you would not only be violating the constitution (which you don't actually care about anyway), but I would really love to see you try to take guns away from legal gun owners, and see what happens.
