Israel started a civil war in Lebanon in the 1980s because it had Palestinian refugees. That's it, just started bombing away. The brightest spot in the Middle East, blasted. Beirut literally took the crown from the Bronx as the worst place on Earth back then because of the destruction courtesy of Israel.
