If you want to get technical, that 223 AR wouldn't have enough recoil to do the job. As an American he should have had a pocket knife at all times and a pistol in his baggage. Probably a takedown fishing rod would have been better

And a satellite phone with a GPS locator - It would have been a much shorter film though ! 😄
