It's kind of disappointing how far the fun stream fell from its grace. Like, don't get me wrong, it was always petty much a glorified meme subreddit, but it felt like people (or at least a select group of people) were trying. Images like these definitely didn't steer the stream in the right way. I always saw people make these type of posts so that the "site would die quicker," or something along those lines, but as time went on, and this website slowly became more and more inactive, I just had to wonder; why? The main argument I saw in support of this is that a certain few were "addicted" to this site and needed a way to break that addiction, causing these types of images to gain notoriety. Here's the thing though, most of the people making these images were primarily MSMG users, MSMG users that very rarely had any use for the fun stream in the first place, so why even bother trying to kill the website in the first place if it isn't even going to change the way you actually, you know, CONSUME it? Looking back it makes no sense, but that's just how people were willing to do things, I guess. Also, if you feel the need to kill an entire website just so you can stop feeding your addiction, you might actually need rehab, because HOOOOOOLY SHIT that is DRASTIC for such a non problem.
And yes, I am part of the problem by upvoting this. whoopsie daisy
