HELP!

HELP! | Hello lovelies! I'm a lil trans boy here with a question. So, as you know I'm a transgender male. I feel much more comfortable identifying as male, and dressing as male. BUT, I dunno if I want top surgery. I bind, yeah, but idk about surgery. Does that make me not trans? | image tagged in trans, questions | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

gender is all in le head. you can choose if you keep it there. share it to others or apply it to you physically.

surgery should happen post 18 but it’s a good time to start thinking about it

not exactly, it’s definitely opinionated! some people are a lot happier after having gender-affirming care in any way shape or form (keep in mind that gender affirming care is more than just surgery/hrt. this includes things like people getting fake nails and haircuts)

It can really hurt your body in some ways... and most people who have surgery now probably havent had it for a decade yet so new opinions could come out later

it really can but it full depends on the person and what exactly they’re doing. i do believe bottom surgery is a lot more harmful than top surgery but really- it’s based on the person.

But what if you regret it? Boobs and p**ises are important organs, you can't go back after chopping them

you can. bottom surgery is just a reconstruction of the part, and yk how ftm get top surgery to remove the boob? what makes you think they can’t do that for a detransitioning person? sure, it won’t be the same, but even still at the end of the day it’s their choice what they do and i don’t know why you’re so bothered by this

Dont force yourself to do something your not fully sure on, because then you might be stuck the rest of your life saying "I shouldn't have done that"

Absolutely not, there are tons of people out there who dont want the surgery for varying reasons and that's totally okay. There's no such thing as not being trans enough.

dude I just don't like having boobs, but I would never get a surgery to get them completely removed. Mainly cause like I don't feel like having 2 scars and paying lots of money for it.

but if that's what you cool with then that's fine
