Back when dems were floating the idea of rounding up republicans and throwing them in concentration camps because they were so drunk on power and thier own self worth?

Trump is just making it safe to be a white heterosexual male again, who've been the target of everyone elses complaints long enough and the ones to suffer. Feel oppressed? Its a white males fault. Didnt get that promotion? Its a white males fault. Didnt qualify for a college admission? Its a white males fault. Are you an illegal immigrant who slimed in under the border? Thats no ones fault but your own, dont let the door hit you on your way out.

Trump has played with his voters emotions of how unfair life is for the "white man" .
However, in reality, it's the blue collar worker who has suffered because of industry moving for cheap wages and infrastructure. Trump claims he's bringing it all back. Well, that's changed, business paying Trump off, getting Tariff exemptions, and continue manufacturing in desirable countries.
As far as migrants go? These people perform jobs that are dirty, physically demanding, and low pay.
So eliminating a labor force that won't be replaced by the white man, is financially and economically, shooting yourself in the foot.

Americans in general are lazy, I'll give you that, and I've been the first to ask who's gonna pick your lettuce if not an immigrant? Who's gonna get on a lawn crew to cut the grass? Who's gonna clean up your hotel rooms? Americans in general feel those jobs are beneath them and it's a problem of our own making, but in general I've just gotten tired of being the "source" of everyones supposed problems just by virtue of being a white male. The only way to get respect as a white male up til now has been to declare yourself gay, then your OK in the eyes of the left, and if your some shade of brown, a woman, some transgender in betweener, thats who's opinion is supposed to matter most but if you're a straight white male you can just sit down, shut up, and accept "responsibility" for all of those groups ills.

I personally haven't experienced those issues, but it appears you have.
I'm old enough to remember gay kids getting the snot beat out of them for the crime of being gay, but we're offered no protection for being targeted. I remember women being harassed sexually at work, without the harasser suffering consequences ( outside of husbands or boyfriends) And of course, the run of the mill, racist crap.
I suppose issues such as those, are why things changed and protections were put in place.
However, like all things Government, there's never a happy medium. The pendulum swings too far to the left, or right.
You're the first person on this platform from politics that I've had a civil conversations with. It's a f**king shame we are, where we are, politically today.

I'm certain with a loss of 6 % this quarter of gpp in Iowa and Nebraska partially caused by labor shortages (migrants)and Chinese (tariffs) saying no to American soybean exports. Plus the other cascading domino effects of Ice labor removals on business.
It's a given. Things aren't running as smoothly as they were 6 months ago.

Tarriffs are going to take some getting used to, especially when so many things arent made here anymore, clothing especially, but we have had an uneven playing field for decades, europe and others taxing our goods while we didnt tax anything of thiers. This is just a leveling of the playing field, and encouragement for companies to start building in America again. But American workers being how they are, GM and Detroit in general being a great example of that, they're gonna want $40-50/hr for a job that only rates 15-20, a good reason cars are so expensive these days. So higher prices are coming one way or the other, at least with tarrifs we're helping to pay down the debt that one day will bankrupt this country.

And if you had tried to tell MAGA last year that the donald was going to declare an emergency in DC as an excuse to deploy the National Guard only to have them on trash duty... they would've probably said bro you're crazy. TDS or whatever.
