California has the 5th highest GDP in the world. It provides $84b in tax revenue to the federal government and contributes 14% to the US GDP.

Taco tariffs are going to affect the public in a negative way and increase Newsome popularity.
It's definitely in the fledgling stage. But I'm confident Trumps mismanagement will sour enough people to actually take notice of the reality hitting their pockets instead of coddling right wing disinformation.
