I first found out about the attack by seeing this picture without any context, though I pieced it together in my head quite quickly. So, I tried to search "Trump assassination attempt" on Google.
To my surprise (it's not so surprising now, but still), the autocomplete results mentioned nothing about an attempt on his life, and they disappeared completely the moment I got past typing Trump's name and put in the first letter of "assassination." It also took several hours before it finally started appearing everywhere in my feed; normally a major news event like this would be trending less than an hour after it happened.
Simply put, that is not something you can do by accident. They not only prepared for this, but they tried to lie to our faces and tell us it never happened until the outrage became so severe that they knew no one believed their worthless attempts to bury the inconvenient truth. What a joke.
