First, stop the normalization. Deviant, or abnormal behavior is by definition 'deviant' and 'abnormal'. Call it what it is, acknowledge it for what it is, and treat it like what it is.

Being heteronormative does not make you anti-gay. If you want to be gay, then be gay. This is America, after all. You can be gay if you want. But stop trying to make being gay normal. It isn't normal, nor should it be.
