The second part is you obey authority so "it will go well with you" meaning you won't get arrested go to jail or be otherwise punished.

Maybe what Jesus simply meant was to reciprocate God's Love for You, which belongs to God,
to render that Love in return to God with All your Heart & Soul, Praise The Lord,
and to Worship the Creator, for everyone individually is His creation.
