Changing:

No mod begging rule:

Instead of us choosing when people get mod, the people may request mod.

Mod requirements:

At least 1 month in understream

No serious bans

Fairly active

All owners agree

When all of these requirements are met, a voting will be called to see if the understream wants this user to gain mod.

Though, if this user is begging for this status, It's likely to not be given.

New way of getting rid of mods:

Instead of mod purging, I have a new way of getting rid of mods.

If mods go below a certain approval amount (30), the user is inactive, and they don't have a good reason to stay as a mod with these stats, they will lose moderator status until they can keep a steady activity level and have all requirements for mod.

they can get mod if they meet the requirements, but they can only get it if they ask, so basically if they want mod, they can ask for it.

How will they know if they met the requirements? The owners will have to inform them about it and ask them if they want mod.

Well I mean, as long as they weren't perma-banned/2 day banned before, and they are online enough, they can ask for mod. It won't be counted as begging if they ask 1 time without all the requirements.

Look, I don't think there are people who will follow that rule (doesn't mean I don't like the rule though). There's three types: the one who doesn't want stress and wouldn't accept mod, the one who doesn't even give a shit, and the one who will stalk your IP address so you can give them mod. Put that in mind. (I'm not criticizing your rule but I feel like something's wrong about it I don't know why 😭)

Though, if someone doesn't want the stress of mod, they just don't need to ask, which is exactly the point of the rule. The one who doesn't care? If they don't care about the rule and keep mod begging, they will just be banned. If they don't care about mod, then they don't need to get it. The stalker? Just ban them, and their alts, and the alt's alt, and the alt's alt's alt, etc. Yes, there is the chance on rebellion, but I'm sure I can contact a site mod or smth to fix that, and if I can't, well it's my fault I couldn't prevent it in the first place.
