They didn’t vanish. They absconded. They are subverting the very “democracy” that they claimed that Trump would subvert. ( And so far hasn’t)
Their pomposity is exceeded only by their hypocrisy.
The Texas Comptroller should suspend any salary payments to any of those that fail to perform the duties that their constituents hired them to do. Fines should be levied against those that refuse to attend the Special Session.
These childish shenanigans need to be punished and those that participated in fleeing Texas should be voted out of office or somehow removed and replaced.
