Trump pardoning J6 protestors (despite committing no actual violence) is not strange or unprecedented in history. He is simply carrying on the tradition set by his predecessor, Joe Biden, of pardoning people when it is politically, or financially, expedient to do so. If it isn't right to pardon these people (who were not given trials and simply thrown into prison, including one individual who was given solitary confinement for months at a time) then why would Trump's predecessor set a precedent so easy to follow by pardoning his own family members for corruption, financial, and weapons-related crimes?
