First, if you're considering bringing this dude back, make him wait till he's 18. By then people should grow out of their edgy state as far as I've seen. Question his intentions and make him consider if he's ready to act appropriately in the server.

My take is that this apology isn't wholehearted. He'd rather blame the alt-right and neurodivergence for his mistake and beat him over them rather than be accountable for them. He labels the content on his profile as "cringe shit" but hasn't described the changes, if any, he's made (or attempted to) to signify that he's "[made] amends," and instead tried to post on the furries stream right away to make this apology. It's a shallow attempt at best to regain his spot in the server for something he's "gotta do," whatever that entails.

Also, for a—quote unquote—"former" crusader, this dude is really asking to come back into a furry server. Also ask him if he's at least a furry supporter. I'd hate to imagine you unknowingly bringing in a nazifur.

Crusaders just depended on the user, some were great, some used it as an excuse to bully other users. They kept most of the site clear of nsfw for a while since most reported posts directly to the sitemods or used image removal. Most didn’t have a stake in furries vs anti-furries until enough people got fed up with “I’m one of the good ones” posts and complained about it so the mods just outright banned furries and “crusade-furs” to avoid trouble. Though a good amount ended up either becoming anti-furry later or joined as an anti-furry and mellowed out due to the few “crusade-furs” there.

in defence of anti furries: not all ant furs are edgy teens. most anti furrys ive met dislike furries because they let sexual content be exposed to minors, often provide a wall for zoophiles and pedos to hide behind, and because furries can never take ay criticism and just deny all their fandoms issues.
