Streaming. Mp3. CD. Cassette tapes. 8-tracks. Records. Radio. Live performances. Finding the sheet music. Making it up by yourself. In that order going back. For listening to music. Might be missing something. But thats the basic music listening methods from newest to oldest.

Can't say I ever listened to a record player in the car.

I don't think there ever was a car that could play records. But there might be.

I still use CD players. My brother drives a car from 1994 and it only has a CD player and radio for music. Unfortunately, the CD player is broken. If it did work, though, we'd be using it all the time.
