Trump didn't order the judge to do shit. He ordered Bondi to request that the courts release appropriate Grand Jury Testimony.

The Judiciary doesn't work for the executive branch. The best any administration can do is ask nicely.

And why did he do that instead of ordering her to release the files? The same reason Dir. Gabbard did the Obama Treason thing- ANYTHING to get you to stop talking about Epstein.

But here's the thing- they don't need the Judiciary to release anything. There's a whole ass list. Remember how AG Bondi said there was a list on her desk and she was looking it over?

Trump can order the release of the files they possess at any time. They don't need the judiciary at all. Should some of those files be redacted? Yeah. Like the names of the 1000s of victims.

But everything else? That's fair game since Epstein is dead.

Because he does need the Judiciary to sign off on that. And it's still not the files. There's more than just some testimony. Maybe you should review what the difference is between evidence and grand jury testimony?

Trump can order anything he wants, it doesn't mean that anyone needs to comply or has legal force. And his order is legally enforceable within the DOJ.

And as chief enforcer of the law, there are instances where the president can issue legally enforceable orders outside the executive branch as well as well, usually but not limited to when enforcing a court ruling. So you didn't even get that right.
