The weird thing is I remember NPR spitting in the face of conservatives years ago and bragging that since the company only based 4% of their operating expenses on government funding they didn't need the outside funding -- while using their leftist politicians to fight the conservatives tooth and nail to KEEP that government funded fiscal pipeline wide full open.

So . . . what happened to the shoulder shrugging NPR attitude and the 4% funding brag?
