The thing is Republicans have become the party of kindness for many despite Trump's mistakes. Who was advocating for men's mental health, ending veteran homelessness, and cutting back on aggressive cancel culture that challenged the notion of political freedom? Right-wing leaders and influencers.

Just because you do something offensive doesn't mean you should be cancelled into losing your job, house, and family ties. If that's the case, you lose the opportunity to learn from your error and become a better person. Republican kindness may have been a trap all along, but the kicker is that the trap worked.
