Birth control can be used for tons of diff stuff, like for example my ex had PCOS and she used bc to stop her flow because if she didn't take it she'd bleed so much she'd die of blood loss, and there's tons of other ways you can use it :3 I also almost got put on it for smth entirely different but yeah

Yeah, that is strange, but hormones don't always translate to pregnancy. It can also be an general problem like if your periods r abnormal or if your estrogen/testosterone levels are wonky
