I occasionally make sexually suggestive comedic shitposts with the NSFW tag active and apparently that breaks the rules.

Gods only know exactly how it breaks the rules though. Maybe it has something to do with their fragile little minds getting warped or some bulshit.

Is it possible for me to make a request with imgflips HQ to update the rules so that only age verified adult users can browse with the NSFW filter off? Or just ban under-18s from making accounts altogether. It would really cut down on all their spam and whinging.
It's also compliant with the UK's age verification law.

NSFW imagery has been discouraged in MSmg for a long time. It's why I stick to other streams when I feel like posting NSFW. NSFW WEEK™ can be like a free education for some users, good old fun for others.

Fine for MSmg Mods and Owners to disapprove those NSFW images or delete those NSFW comments when they show up in SFW locations.

I believe current Imgflip's age requirement in the Terms is borne from US COPPA legislation, which places the burden of age compliance on the user, and their parents/guardians.

I know we have a boobs stream and all that but it would be nice if the nsfw rules where more lax for the adult site of the website. Imgflip would be much better with it's own version of r/nsfwmeme for example.

Not that I'm blaming you, Andrew. You don't make the rules and I get that but it still sucks that this is the path HQ decided on instead of making more accommodations for actual contributors to the site like me instead of opening the flood gates to a horde of rugrats and spammers that are costing the site a lot of money and bandwidth.
