No, Obama did not send 1.7 billion dollars to Iran. He released Iranian bank accounts in US Banks that were frozen by Jimmy Carter.

Obama gave Israel 100 billion dollars for its Iron Dome. If it wasn't for that, Israel would look a lot more like the Gaza Strip than it looks like Israel today.
