Ngl, thats the most normal thing I’ve heard other parents do, and its because they don’t want you gaming past a certain time and they want you to hang out in the real world with irl friends. The problem with this is if you can’t get online homework done within that time you’re cooked, so it’s good natured in theory but it can end up f**king you over.
