Sad and yet typical. That's because the average citizen is either too instinctively trusting of authority or conservative. The conservatives know what's going on because they study history and remain informed through politically independent sources. The instinctive trusters, however, just go with the flow while trusting that authority has their best interests in mind regardless of the bitter lessons of history.
Leftist movements utilize these easily manipulated Useful Idiots to install their invariably nation-harming -- but also invariably personally lucrative -- scams.
So in this case they flood the nation with unvetted illegals KNOWING that there will be a massive rise in general crime and murders; but these string pulling leftists themselves live in safe and protected gated communities; and so they don't give a damn.
The rest is history with the average citizen knowing that things are getting worse and worse but being unable to pinpoint why, because the leftists nominally in control are telling them that the cause is conservatives pointing out realities while standing against nation-harming leftist policies.
It's an awesome system of leftist scams; and it always hinges on having enough Useful Idiots remaining . . . Useful Idiots; blind to reality.
