I don't read only leftist news sources. I get news and views from all kinds of sources across the political spectrum, including publications/outlets I vehemently disagree with. (The comments sections are usually fun. 💀) Plus, most "mainstream" media coming out of the UK skews heavily to the right anyway, with the exception of the BBC and a couple of minor newspapers.
I still don't agree with this claim that "Muslims are taking over the nation". Whatever that even means? Culturally? Militarily? If anything, that's what smacks more of conspiracy theory propaganda talk and fearmongering.
No one is forcing Brits to convert to Islam and there are no plans to force women to wear hijab, close down the pubs or impose jizyah tax for non-believers.
The main talk is about: mass immigration in general (a large percentage of which is not from Muslim countries anyway); irregular Channel crossings, because a large number of people crossing are from Muslim countries although these crossings make up a very small percentage (around 5–7%) of overall net migration (it's still a big problem that needs a clever solution that no one has managed yet, and they rarely look into the deeper geopolitical reasons for the increase in asylum seekers because it's a handy political scapegoat); alleged grooming gang scandals in certain parts of the country; and claims of Shariah-controlled zones (although that's an old story and if you actually find a street like that please take a photo and share because that would actually be interesting to see.
