Exactly.

More generally, there's no reason why ANY sane American should support the democrat party. Their goal is the complete destruction of the country.

The Republican party infuriates me sometimes, but at least they're for preserving and protecting the country while we can (maybe?) improve public policies. Especially those relating to financial management.

Well said. Personally I am keeping a wary eye out for the Rightwing politicians currently in charge of the federal government turning to their version of the authoritarianist habits that the Left practiced under the sick joke that was the Biden Administration. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. So forth and so on; and so I am watching out for any signs of that happening. But so far so good.

The pendulum swings to its extremes in both directions. The harder it swings left the harder it will swing back to the right. Have to watch for and temper anti free speech initiatives from both extremes.
