Just think of all the savings once all the illegals are off the tax payers pocket. What part of the BBB bill that bothers you the most?

The sections that try to insulate the president from judicial accountability. Republicans snuck in a provision into the megabill that would effectively remove from judges the ability to hold litigants who defy court orders in contempt. For example, on page 562 of the 1,118-page bill, a brief section entitled “Restriction on Enforcement” says:

"No court of the United States may enforce a contempt citation for failure to comply with an injunction or temporary restraining order if no security was given when the injunction or order was issued pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 65(c) whether issued prior to, on, or subsequent to the date of enactment of this section.”

These are simply more stealth attempts at running an end run around the Constitution. In addition to that, the decreased tax burden on the wealthy at a time when they need to be paying more (since the USA has assisted them more than other nations could have) and the cuts to Medicaid and SNAP benefits are more than just troubling. They demonstrate an ethic of "We want the rich to get richer, even if we have to borrow trillions for it to happen, and we want the poor to shoulder the burden." It's contemptuous to the poor and the lower middle-class.

Finally, undocumented aliens pay taxes. Why is ICE raiding workplaces? Tax-paying aliens are working there. Aliens have lower levels of arrests, and in general are great assets to the U.S. Tyrannosaurus Rump, however, has created more aliens than he has expelled. He has done this by revoking their statuses-- thus, those who were here lawfully have now been transformed into "illegals." SAD, as TACO Man would have said.

I know he is pissed that EV subsidies are being cut. Considering other industries will retain tax payers fund.

The Government is too invested in Elon to be F’ing with him. My Conspiracy mind might suggest this could be a Psy-Ops to get the leftist off his back, maybe get his cars sales up.

It's not getting crap. (That's why it's adding so much to the debt). The only way to get the budget, let alone the debt, under control would be to gut a lot of stuff, but no one has the guts to do it

I believe that wholeheartedly, the way you phrased it anyway. I've been calling for this for decades-- but who am I, someone who works with needy people and not influential in political circles.

Someone needs to go in with no agenda for reelection, and do it with wisdom, after looking at the best studies and consulting the best minds. It's won't be DOGE, run by a man who has so many special interests and took so little time to study the problems that it doesn't even register. It's not TACO and his Conflicted Cabinet of Clowns. It needs to be a real politician (or 10, or 10 thousand) who doesn't care about what the public thinks, but is just willing to execute the job and be despised for it. No one wants their pet projects cut; That is understood. The current Clown Cabal are all in the back pockets of the wealthy, though. They ARE the wealthy, and they are not patriots. Certainly, during this time of crisis, we CAN'T keep enriching the multi-millionaires. Those who have benefited more from U.S. ingenuity, natural resources, laws, opportunities, etc. simply need to pay more. Starting with Lone Skum, excuse me, Elon Musk, on down the line.
