Because that's the portrayal the elite want people to believe since the collectivist mentality is what elites want people into because they're easier to control. Make the more individual, responsiblilty oriented, work ethic minded traditionalist world view person side the scapegoat for everything after tugging on heartstrings of different particular things like animals, environmental issues, lgbtq issues, feminism etc then once that's in full swing indoctrinate them into the rest of the collectivist mentality and even with evidence they still don't see it. I've heard them say... Well back then the republicans were like democrats and the democrats were like the republicans and that's actually enough to blind them to this blatant reality. Stalin called his collectivist supporters useful idiots and the same attitude exists in these elitists. Some people are much harder to mind control and more traditionally minded people are often those people although not always so pounce in on the ones most likely to be collectively brainwashed and brainwash them to assume the other ones are the problem and eventually they'll back up depopulation. Psychopaths like to use people to do dirty work for the purpose of torturing and dividing people and view human beings as chess pawns to play with then discard.
