Richest man on the planet and not exactly doing much to help his fellow human. Other than build rockets and cars of course, which is great, don't get me wrong. But he could probably use some of his fortune to help people improve their lives a bit, rather than slagging off poor people and firing them.

I don't think we're going to be able to reach a point of agreement on a lot of those issues, but I will like to remind you that what he's doing with starlink is definitely helping a lot of people who would otherwise be unable to get cell phone coverage. He also happens to be the highest taxpayer in the history of the country, so tat's something.

Musk is a complex one. I used to actually really admire him btw. It's true he pays a lot of taxes (again, whether he's paying what he *actually* owes, I couldn't say cos I'm not a lawyer but he does pay a lot, yes).

And he's started businesses and innovated a lot and done loads of cool stuff. I'm not disputing that at all.

I concede all that.

Like I said, he used to be like my hero or something (no joke). The reusable rockets and electric cars are separate. He gets points for that. He's a visionary in that field.

But then he got into politics. Whoops.

I guess I just wish he would do less politics and do more to help poor people (especially autistic people).

And then what does he do?

Tells you that you need to stop moaning, and anyone can start a business with no risk in Western countries (not true – he's clearly never had to live on govt welfare at 60 quid a week cos lucky him he comes from a rich family and his grampa made a fortune from a diamond mine or sth), and stop whining, and the usual rw rhetoric. And that homelessness is a scam and they're all basically druggie losers.
